Designers - Involved from the quoting phase forward to insure that the end product meet's our customer's needs. The Hines Group uses a team concept to design and make tooling and inspection gauges. An Engineer is assigned as Project coordinator to the project and will oversee the order through completion. Tool Designers use the PRO-E drafting system and work closely with the tool and die makers to assure the tool will function properly. Designers apply a modular concept to dies which reduces downtime when placed into production. |

Toolmakers - Trained at The Hines Group Training Center our tool and die makers work with Engineering to produce high quality tools every time. Our grinders and mills produce dies and gauges to perfection. Specialized CNC equipment is used to produce the exacting tolerances required for our precision tooling components. Jig grinders, Wire EDM and mills are some of the state-of-the-art machinery used. Our R & D department offers laser-welding capabilities for experimental short runs to verify production feasibility. |

Technical Service Director - Each project is lead by a TSD specifically assigned to each and every customer to maintain a steady flow of information between The Hines Group and our customers. Modular and Quick Change Dies - Our modular design approach to die building minimizes down-time during production. Our quick-change die structure allows The Hines Group to utilize our presses to meet customer's demands for production. CNC Equipment - Our specialized CNC equipment, such as Jig Grinders, Wire EDM and mills, allows us to maintain the tolerances required on our tooling to produce the tolerances our customers require in their parts. |
